Welcome to the Young Musician Alliance, a place where dedicated teachers, musicians, and business owners come together with one goal: empowering underserved youth through music education, mentorship, and access to instruments. We believe that every child, regardless of background, deserves the opportunity to explore their musical potential.
To empower young musicians by providing them with the tools they need to succeed—be it access to instruments, lessons, or mentorship. We work tirelessly to support the growth of aspiring musicians, helping them build confidence and foster a deep, lifelong love for music.

Providing musical instruments to underserved youth giving them the opportunity to learn and grow through music
Refurbishing and donating instruments to ensure every child has access to the tools they need, regardless of financial constraints
Offering music education scholarships to young musicians to help them pursue their passion without the burden of financial limitations
Small Items make a big difference! Cymbals, Strings, Drumheads, and Cords all break and need to be repaired or replaced often.
Teaching the fundamentals of digital recording and production, enabling aspiring musicians to explore modern music-making techniques
Conducting hands-on band workshops where students learn teamwork, collaboration, and musicianship while making music together
Pairing young musicians with experienced mentors to guide them in their musical journey, providing inspiration and professional development
Organizing local concerts, recitals, and community gatherings where young musicians can showcase their talents, connect with others, and build confidence

Erik and the Young Musician Alliance have stepped my guitar game at Arvada High School. Erik's passion for helping his community has been incredible to see and a blessing to our title 1 school. In the short time I have known Erik and the YMA they have repaired an electric bass, an amplifier, 3 acoustic guitars, a snare drum, donated brand new strings, and donated a 5 string electric bass. I am very thankful Erik reached out to start this collaboration with Arvada High School and the Young Musician Alliance.
The support we have received from Erik and the Young Musician Alliance has been incredible. Their generosity has directly impacted both our school and our students in need, and we are truly grateful! Every donation has arrived quickly and thoughtfully, and it’s clear that Erik understands exactly what teachers and young musicians require to succeed. The instruments and resources he has provided are already helping our students grow in meaningful ways. You can tell that Erik cares deeply about what kids need and followthrough every time. Thank you, Erik and YMA, for making such a real difference in our community!

The Young Musician Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved youth through music. We provide instruments, mentorship, and education programs that help children develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for music.
You can donate new or gently used instruments, equipment, or make a financial contribution directly through our website. Every donation helps us provide music lessons, scholarships, and instruments to students who need them most.
We’re based in Arvada, Colorado, and proudly serve surrounding communities. However, our network continues to grow through local partnerships and outreach programs that expand our mission’s impact.
Your support helps provide instruments, fund scholarships, and run workshops that give young musicians the opportunity to learn, perform, and build confidence. Every donation, volunteer hour, and shared note brings us closer to changing lives through music.
